Enter the madhouse
My friends, my princes.
He is joyfully waiting for us.
We are joyfully waiting for us.
We light the lantern here,
The lantern hangs like a tsar.
Here we have foxes running,
They squeal shrilly.
All this is temporary for us.
Flowers are blooming everywhere.

“A Few Conversations” is a new production by the Tartu Student Theatre (TÜT) based on the text of the same name by Aleksandr Vvedensky, a classic of Russian avant-garde poetry from the 1930s. This is already the third time TÜT has addressed this author. The text takes us on the wrong paths of ontological and epistemological questions of human existence, which, unfortunately, ends in divine disorder. In addition to the actors, the performance also features images being drawn on stage, creeping sofas, shapes being formed, and thoughts becoming sounds. Somewhere above all this shines the "star of meaninglessness." Recommended for all friends of absurd poetics and psychedelia.
Performance duration approx. 1 hour.
