Martin Liira and Hella Jansons went to France, Richard Naar and Sigrid Salutee went to Voronezh, Anneli Ojaste and Kadri Kõiv went to Belgium. Ingel Terasmees and Hannes Aaresild moved to Tallinn. BUT Kaarel Targo returned from the army and Sven Paulus returned to Tartu.

We continued to study Suzuki and viewpoints with Kadi Tudrega. We are still fighting for our inpatient. We got Karl Laumets back from the festival in Belarus as recognition (he was recognized as the best supporting actor and they didn't want to give it), Kalev was named one of the three best directors, and we also came in third place in the audience vote. So beautiful.
We also kept the flag high at the Belgian festival, as they say. There were no awards given out there (not to anyone). But we still did well. We found our inner super monkey.
At the beginning of the summer we went to hold a summer school near Värska. Karin Brown taught the Alexander technique, Hasso Krull talked about mythology and tricksters, Kristjan Piirimäe and Juhan Javois introduced evolutionary psychology. Liiv made her toes golden and Triinu spectacularly killed a parma. Other things happened too.
Finally, we managed to go to the Valka festival, showing the Ivanovs' story to a foreign audience for the first time. The Slavs immediately embraced Vvedensky and cheered. The joy is on our side!
This year's words, it seems, are freestyle or also style libre. Why not, gentlemen!

The studio in its current form was replaced in the autumn semester with Kalev Kudu's clown training and Eric Seufert's improv theatre classes. We also celebrated the theatre's 10th anniversary in a grand way, we came together from all over Estonia, joked, had a sauna and a gala performance. We watched the Belarusians who had come to visit. We listened to the conference and had a disco in the evening. An exhibition and brochure were put together, all by ourselves. We made promises and raised a toast. It was a great time.
In the spring, Kadi Tudre trained us in Suzuki, viewpoints and body mime, everyone was thrilled. In addition, part of the troupe continued to take Eric's classes and performed improv at the Tartu Comedy Festival in Vilde bar.
In the summer, a summer school in honour of Bernard Kangro took place near Otepää, Janika Kronberg gave a lecture, Kalev showed a video, Kadi Tudre worked out and everyone sweated a lot and in different places.

Nõmeteater

There has been a drama club or studio at the University of Tartu for a long time, with breaks. At one time, the university's drama club also included Mati Unt, Paul-Eerik Rummo, and others. The current Tartu Student Theatre has grown out of the Tartu University Drama Studio, which was launched by Timo Kikas in 1993. In the early years of the studio, Aare Laak acted as the instructor, later Kikas himself, and in the last year Auli Auväärt. Although the drama studio placed the main emphasis on closed studio work, a few productions were also produced, and one-off performances were performed at student days and events. The Nõmeteatar, as it was called, developed its own traditions: winter and summer camps were organized and the N-Objekt award was awarded.

The N-Objekt is an award with which the theatre highlights one of its members - the best, most accomplished of the academic year. The nominee is chosen at the end of the spring semester by voting, in which all members of the theatre can participate. You can only be nominated once. The decision is final and the object cannot be returned. N-Objekt has no fixed shape or form. It changes from year to year. Last year's laureate crafts this year's object according to his or her intelligence and manual dexterity. N-Objekt was founded by Timo Kikas in 1997.
