The work is simple and clear for young people, it's even a vacation for them: it's cool to pick apples in the fresh air with cool girls. Delicious autumn apples that will last all winter. But when the young people suddenly discover that one of the apples has been crushed, a chain of strange, funny and terrible events begins that no one could have expected.

Pavel Pryazhko's comedy "The Harvest" is a work of absurdity, characterized by Albert Camus's thought: "The absurd is born from the opposition of human expectations and the insane silence of the world." "The Harvest" also has clear parallels with Anton Chekhov's famous comedy "The Cherry Orchard", where the symbol of beauty "the garden" is destroyed due to the inability, indifference and ineptitude of the characters. They don't know what to do with the harvest anymore, there are no more ideas.

Prjažko is the author to whom director Kalev Kudu turns for the third time. The play "Õnnestunud elu", which premiered in 2012 and participated in the most foreign festivals, told the story of four young people's empty lives that have run into a dead end. ""You keep living and don't even notice how you end up in someone else's world..."", which was staged in 2013, brought the audience the story of a young girl who died a martyr's death for the absurd and incomprehensible world around her.

Now we have reached the apple orchard and no one is yet prepared for what is happening there.

The play is in one act and lasts 50 minutes.
