In October you'll be guided by internationally acclaimed Belgian director and choreographer Jordi L. Vidal (40+ productions and 600+ performances worldwide). Together with young people of Estonian, Ukrainian, Russian and other backgrounds, you'll create the physical theatre piece "The Crossing" – a story about crossing borders, meeting one another and belonging.
✨ What we're looking for:
• age 14–18
• prior (even a little) experience in the performing arts – acting, singing, dancing, puppetry, etc.
• a wish to try something new
• openness to work with peers from different cultures
💡 Why join?
• it's FREE
• you don't need to speak Estonian well – physical theatre speaks through the body and emotions
• the performance takes place at the small international theatre festival A-festival – you'll meet performing artists from different European countries!
• you'll perform in front of a real audience and make new friends across cultures
