Mime workshop - GrAFiTi
Max Meiser has been working in mime since 2009, first with the touring company of Jean Ribouillault, himself a pupil of one of Marcel Marceau's students.
He later joined the ensemble at Theater der Immoralisten in Freiburg, spent four years on the board of the Saarland University Theatre, and recently refounded the German-French theatre group Le Pont.
He has performed at the Saarländisches Staatstheater and has given workshops for institutions including the Diocese of Trier and the Saarland Ministry of Education.
Le Théâtre du Silence
Two hours of silence.
Language is where we live, and it is also what marks us off from one another. For two hours we set it aside and work in the art of silence, where a precise gesture, a shift of weight or an open hand says more about being human than any text can.
We work on the foundations, the fixed point and dynamic posture, we look at the laws of composition, and we touch some of the classic illusions: the invisible wall, the rope, the staircase.
The workshop is free!
Bring comfortable clothes, soft shoes or bare feet, and some water. No prior experience needed.
